Equipment service

Recreational, technical or professional, we service gear for every kind of diver. Tell us what you have when you drop it off. We inspect it, then confirm the work and the price with you before we start.

Regulators

Servicing for first stages, second stages and octopus.

BCDs

Servicing and inspection of inflators and valves.

Spearguns

New bands, tips and lines.

Dive computer batteries

We replace batteries on computers with a user-replaceable battery. Sealed computers usually have to go back to the manufacturer. Ask us about your model.

Our service promises

  • We inspect your gear first, then confirm the work and the price with you before we start.
  • If we find something you haven’t approved, we check with you before doing it.
  • We always give you back the O-rings and parts we replace.
  • We follow each manufacturer’s service intervals and procedures.

What to bring when you drop off

  • The whole piece of gear: first stage, second stages, octopus and gauges together for a regulator; the inflator hose with a BCD
  • Your last service paperwork or receipt, if you have it
  • A note of anything that’s been wrong: free-flows, leaks, hard breathing, sticking buttons
  • Your name and phone or WhatsApp number, so we can confirm the work before we start

What we find when we open up gear. This is why regular service matters, and why we show you what we find before we fix it.

Tank inspections

  • Visual inspections. Inside and outside checks of the cylinder and valve.
  • Hydrostatic testing. The periodic pressure test cylinders need to stay in service.

Not sure when your tank is due? Bring it in and we’ll check the stamps and sticker for you, or use our gear service checker.

How much does a fill cost?

Call us at (787) 436-7047 for current fill prices.

It depends on the model. We replace user-replaceable batteries. Sealed computers usually have to go back to the manufacturer.

High-pressure breathing-air compressors only, from makers such as Max-Air, Bauer, MAKO and Coltri. We don’t work on low-pressure garage compressors or unbranded units.

How do you check your air quality?
