About PR Dive
A dive shop first, since 2015.
PR Dive opened in Bayamón in 2015, built on experience in diving going back to 2001. We’re a PADI 5 Star Dive Center.
What we do
Everything we do starts at the shop in Bayamón:
- The dive shop. Gear from 25 brands we’re authorized to sell, fitted in person.
- Training. PADI courses from Discover Scuba to Master Scuba Diver, with ocean training from shore.
- Service and fills. Regulators, BCDs, tanks, spearguns and high-pressure compressors, plus air and nitrox.
- Boat trips. Two-tank dives off Fajardo aboard our boat, Four Points (paused for hurricane season; see Boat trips).
How we work
- We train divers properly so they can dive on their own. The world is yours to explore, and we’re your home base for gear, fills, service and advice when you get back.
- We tell you what to expect before you arrive: where to go, what to bring, and what happens next.
- We confirm the work and the price before we service your gear.
- We choose dive and training sites based on the day’s conditions.
- We don’t sell online. We’d rather fit your gear in person.
Caring for the reef
- We sponsor reef cleanups.
- On boat dives, we tie up to mooring buoys instead of anchoring whenever one is available.
- Our crew uses reef-safe sunscreen, and we ask our divers to do the same.
