Booking & cancellation
Please read this before you book a course, a dive or a charter.
Courses and dives
Booking
- A valid card is required to confirm your booking.
- At the shop, you can pay with cash or card.
If you need to cancel
- Cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled time and we refund you in full.
- Cancellations must be in writing, sent to puertoricodivetours@gmail.com.
- Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice, and no-shows, are charged in full.
Rescheduling
- You can reschedule once, depending on availability.
- Rescheduling with less than 48 hours’ notice, or not showing up, is charged in full.
If we cancel
- If we cancel because of weather or something else outside our control, such as equipment failure or staff illness, you choose: a full refund, or a new date at no extra cost.
Before you arrive
- Basic swimming ability is required. If you can’t take part because you can’t swim, the full amount is still charged.
- Arrive ready to get in the water, with your swimsuit on.
Fajardo boat trip minimum
Boat trips need at least 6 divers to run. If fewer than 6 book, we cancel the trip and you choose: move to another date that’s more likely to go out, or get a full refund.
Private charters
- Full payment is required when you book.
- Cancel at least 7 days before your charter for a full refund. For example, for a charter on August 15, cancel by 5:30 PM on August 8.
- For safety, we may change the route or cancel the trip at the dock. A changed route doesn’t qualify for a discount. If we cancel, you get a full refund.
